Key Benefits
- ✅ Profit Factor 2.40: Gross profit outpaces gross loss by 2.4x across 1,767 trades — achieved with martingale scaling that can compress equity 86% before recovering.
- ✅ Dual Position-Building: Pyramids into winners and averages into losers simultaneously — amplifies gains in trending conditions but doubles compounding risk when both systems activate on the same side.
- ✅ Group Break-Even Protection: Closes all positions once the basket reaches a net profit trigger, preventing open floating loss from becoming a realized loss — active by default.
- ✅ Spread Guard: Filters entries when spread exceeds 300 points, keeping execution costs from eroding the tight average profit-per-trade of $7.45.
This EA uses martingale with a 1.1× lot multiplier and no hard cut-loss by default. Compare EA strategies if you need a fixed-risk alternative.
RTX Parody EA Performance
A 4-month backtest on $1,000 starting capital (Jan–Apr 2025, XAUUSD M15) produced $9,534 net profit at 2.40 profit factor with 7.03% balance drawdown and 86.65% peak equity drawdown.
A second run on $10,000 starting capital over the same period shows $11,633 net profit, profit factor 2.23, and 10.18% balance drawdown — equity drawdown peaked at 65.92%.

| Sharpe Ratio | 8.15 | 4.52 |
The equity drawdown figures — 86.65% on the $1,000 run and 65.92% on the $10,000 run — are the defining risk characteristic of this EA. The trigger is the martingale averaging chain: when XAUUSD sustains a directional move against the open position, the EA adds lots at 1.1× multiplier with no hard stop, and floating loss compounds rapidly. With up to 1,000 martingale positions permitted by default, a prolonged trend against the basket can consume most available equity before the break-even mechanism triggers a close. This is a structural weakness — the lot multiplier and grid spacing can be adjusted, but the averaging logic itself cannot be removed without disabling the core strategy.
Reducing maximum martingale positions from 1,000 to a lower cap, tightening the lot multiplier toward 1.0, and enabling the Cut Loss function at a defined USD threshold are the three controllable levers. The backtest data does not document post-adjustment outcomes — quantified mitigation requires your own demo testing at modified settings before committing live capital.
Both figures are from a 4-month backtest with 0% real tick quality — balance drawdown and win rate are indicative, but the equity drawdown range and slippage behavior in live conditions remain unconfirmed.
How RTX Parody EA Works
Mechanism:
The EA trades XAUUSD on M15 using a 5-period Simple Moving Average to identify the current trend direction. In “Trend Area Mode,” it enters positions aligned with that short-term bias. Because XAUUSD M15 produces frequent micro-trends with pullbacks, the strategy then adds to winning positions (pyramiding) and to losing positions (martingale averaging) to maximize capture on extended moves and recover from adverse ones.
Signal Trigger:
Entry fires when price is on the correct side of the 5-period SMA in Trend Area Mode. The spread filter blocks entry if spread exceeds 300 points. The RSI counter-trend filter and EMA distance filter are both disabled in the documented configuration.
Position Close:
Three exit mechanisms run in parallel: trailing stop activates at 300-point profit and trails at 100 points from the high-water mark; group break-even protection closes all positions once the basket reaches a 200-point profit trigger with 100-point lock; when the trailing stop hits, all positions close simultaneously.
Exposure Limits:
The spread filter (300 points maximum) is the sole entry gate active by default. Cut Loss is disabled — there is no hard USD stop on the basket unless you enable and set it manually. Maximum martingale positions is configured at 1,000 and maximum pyramid positions at 100.
- ✅ Optimal conditions: Sustained XAUUSD directional moves on M15 with moderate volatility; stable spreads under 300 points; clear trend structure where the 5-period SMA provides consistent directional signal.
- ⚠️ Avoid when: XAUUSD enters a choppy, range-bound phase where the 5-period SMA flips repeatedly — both pyramiding and martingale chains open simultaneously in opposing directions; also avoid during high-impact news events where spread spikes trigger abnormal position sizing behavior.

Who Should Use RTX Parody EA
- ✅ Running MT5 on a VPS with uninterrupted connectivity — the trailing stop and break-even system require continuous execution to function as designed.
- ✅ Funding with $10,000 or more — the $1,000 backtest shows 86.65% peak equity drawdown, meaning a smaller account can be nearly wiped before recovery; $10,000 reduces that to 65.92% on the same data.
- ✅ Willing to configure risk controls manually — Cut Loss is off by default; buyers who run the EA without enabling it and setting a USD limit accept open-ended basket loss.
- ✅ Comfortable with martingale mechanics — floating drawdown between entry and break-even close can be large and sustained; this EA is not suitable for traders who require a hard per-trade stop loss.
Performance verified with: MT5, XAUUSD M15, $1,000 and $10,000 starting capital, 1:100 leverage, Raw Trading Ltd broker environment.
